ActionAgenda App Reviews

Missing something

It seemed to come with a lot of ways to use it and seems powerful. It lacked options to have a view without the combo of a month+week view. I wanna separate them. I wanted to use this as my calendar plus todo app but I dont like the views. Seems petty but important. Am I the one missing something?

Action Agenda

I love this app, I use it all the time. I gave it four stars instead of five because of two things. I want to be able to see all of my todo, and not just part of it and to be able to put sub todos everywhere and not just in projects. Do these changes and five stars all the way.

Could use some work...

I bought this app thinking it would be the solution to my search for the perfect calendar and task integration app, sadly it is not. While it makes huge improvements on some other apps, it lacks the ability to view the calendar in month, day, week views, and instead gives the user a complicated mini month and mini week compacted into one. It also only allows for sub-taks in projects, and it has a complicated method of seeing a tasks context and tags. I think of the developers would fix these, it would be a wonderful app. It needs minor improvements to be a great app.

Full featured yet easy to understand

After trying out about a dozen to do/list/planner apps I have settled on this one and I love it! I create projects, then set up tasks & subtasks so its easy to see whats next and put things in rational order. I really love the use of contexts too, so easy to just hit @errands when Im headed home from work and get a quick check on whether I need to stop off anywhere. I love that you can make a quick checklist or work on a big, detailed project with equal ease. I mostly use the calendar just to track task scheduling and the drag n drop is great! If youre looking for a good way to handle GTD project management Id recommend this one, its the best Ive found yet by far.

Literally changed my life.

This application has become a crucial part of my day-to-day workflow. I am a President of an organization, I run a pep band, Im a full time student, I am in a large number of musical ensembles, I am an intern and a teacher assistant. This application is how I succeed in all of it. Thank you for the intuitive interface and highly effective to-do list. This has replaced my utility apps that came with the phone and my pen-n-paper planner in every way.

Nice, but does it sync with google?

Just started using it. Well thought out. But I need it to sync with google as thats the standard. Do that and u have a complete app.

Awesome App

It meets all my scheduling needs perfectly.

Nice inbox, decent support, limited options

Been looking for an easy inbox and this does the trick. However, i then need to use other programs for my weekly detailed planning. Also had an issue with a subscribed calendar (support helped me trouble shoot) that none of my other calendars had had an issue with. Runs on ipad though not made for it. Decent, but still looking for the ultimate solution.

Privacy settings

Didnt allow to initially access calendar and cant find privacy setting to allow. No use without it! Found it however cant tap to add appt. in day view

Good app

This is a good integration of todo list and calendar. It seems stable so far (unfortunately a problem with some other attempts at this), but it is somewhat lacking in event repetition. I can only choose daily, weekly, etc. Id like to have custom repetition (example: every other day, or every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday). Thanks for a less expensive alternative to other integrated calendar and todo apps. Thanks also for listening.

Best calendar for iphone

This is an awesome app. I looked at several different calendars and downloaded a couple. I was ready to trade my iPhone back for a droid until I found this calendar. I have a professional practice and needed a great calendar with a really good monthly view. This calendar had all those things. When I thought I found a glitch I got an immediate personal response to debug. I give this 5 stars.

Great views

Love that I can view 1month and/or 1 week at a time. I work part time and my days constantly change so I am able to look at a quick glance to see which days I work or am off. Plus I can see whats going on with my kids...like soccer practice or school functions. Also love that to dos show up on my calendar view. Ive been looking for something like this for a while now! My only negative is that it seems to list everything in alphabetical order...Id prefer to see appointments/calendar stuff first, THEN the list of to-dos. Im still trying to figure that out. It must have something to do with listing my to-dos as all day events but I dont want to schedule specific time for each thing. Anyone have any suggestions for that? Overall, VERY HAPPY!

Excellent

Great work with Integrating the calendar and todo list. Ive purchased and used several decent top calendar programs, but none of them offer the quality integration and flexibility as yours. Thx for making my life easier!

Try this

I have used too many different calendar, task manager and planner apps and found them either lacking or unstable. This is truly a Comprehensive app with shockingly rapid and useful response from support. Very easy to use with drag and drop conversion between tasks and events. Both tasks and events are shown on the same calendar. Syncs nicely with iOS calendar and Toodledo.

Not "The One"

I needed a color-coded calendar that I could writes to dos on and this isnt it. When I have a long list of things to do it only shows 6 in calendar view. The tabs in the to do list section dont meet my needs. "Tag"? "Context"? I dont even know what that means, so a portion of the to do section isnt used. On top of all that, I cant color code the calendar. Overall, the list section is over thought and the calendar is too simplistic. Bummer.

Love it!

Im a mother of 4 I work full time go to school full time and one of my children is disabled so allll together I have a ton of to-dos appts ect always on the go always busy n it never fails at the end if the day Id done forgot something from a appt to a item at the store to the card for a ill friend always something!! This app is AWESOME allows me to put it all in one place gives me reminders ect I love it! I do wish I could color code it though but still love love love it has realllly helped me keep it all together thank you!!!

Happy

Finally something that I can use. Thanks.

Very good and recommend it with strong caveats!

Id been using the Lite version for a few weeks and really liked it once I figured out most the features. Having the Tags is awesome and makes life easier than just working with Context. Im familiar with the GTD methodology, which makes the App easier to understand. Not knowing GTD, would make it more challenging to understand and not completely intuitive. I like how it seamlessly it interacts with IOS 6 Reminders and Calendar. Would be nice if Someday, it would interact with Evernote for to get to specific data tied to projects, reminders or calendar events. Overall, the App is very good. The App was so good, I decided to buy it. This is where I almost lost it. When I opened the Full Version it looked good on the surface until I saw that my Contexts and Tags were gone and all my Filters were reset to their defaults. After settling down, I saw that the Lite Version was not overwritten. I opened it and saw everything intact. I found a Transfer button that actually says Transfer Data to Full Version. Once I did that, I found everything OK in the Full Version EXCEPT my Filters, which were reset to the Default Filters requiring me to go back through everything to get it where I want it. Not efficient. Addendum: My Tags and my Contexts were transferred, but it removed the Tags and Contexts from all my items. I have to go back in and re-apply them.

Almost perfect...

Very smooth todo+calendar that syncs well to gmail/iCloud/iCal. However, some important features are missing: you cannot tag events synced to app, and you cannot track the time used for any tag or project. Most importantly, notifications are weak. Natively, It only has 1 alarm. Email/SMS/etc are offloaded to todooledo. Task list is also non-intuitive for non-GTD people.

Features, Looks, Reliability, Updates

UPDATE Calendar views nicely re-implemented. Still smooth n stable at ~9 weeks. SHORTCOMING This app has no iPad version nor Universal iDevice support. Since I cannot use it with my iPad mini along with my iPhone it has little use for me. =^( OLD REVIEW I committed to this somewhat unique app. [Evaluated 7, OMG!] Its Very versatile and quite useful for me. Hard to find a (Very handy) hybrid Task + Calendar app that has all the most wanted calendar views, plus todo tasks with priority +due date +tagging, etc. ALL nicely included. =COULD=RECOMMEND= ! create a version for the iPad ! ! very, very few apps like this available !
